London Andrews lived a nomadic, very unusual lifestyle as a model for years and she blogged about it regularly. I called her the “Beat” model. She traveled from city to city, town to town, posing for every kind of photographer imaginable, most of them amateurs. Many of them were amateurs with excellent technical skills and creative technique. So the pictures London made, either for private collections or for the photographers’ personal websites, are often better than the work of professional photographers who shoot mechanically with no passion for their subjects.
